RedotPay referral code vs promo code
Two different codes, two different places. The referral code goes in once at registration and gives a $5 welcome reward. The promo code goes in at card checkout and takes 20% off the fee. This page is about the first one. See the current promo codes →

What the referral code gives you
- A $5 welcome reward credited after identity verification.
- It is spending credit, valid for 30 days from the day it is credited.
- It cannot be used for the card issuance fee, withdrawn, or transferred.
You do not need a code from this site to get it: the referral field is optional, and any valid code from a friend works. Reward amounts and conditions are set by RedotPay and can change by country; the current terms are in the app under Referral and in the official help article.
How to use both codes
- Register with a referral code, if you have one.Tap "Referral Code (Optional)" on the registration screen and enter the code before you finish creating the account. RedotPay's help center is explicit: a referral code can only be added during registration and cannot be applied once the account exists. If you do not have one, leave the field empty and register normally.
- Complete identity verification. The welcome reward is credited after verification is approved, not at the moment of sign-up.
- Order the card with a promo code. The $5 cannot pay the issuance fee, so reduce the fee with a card promo code from the home page instead: virtual card $10 → $8, physical card $100 → $80.
- Spend the $5 within 30 days.It is spending credit for ordinary card payments. It expires, and it cannot be withdrawn or transferred.

What the referrer earns
The referral program pays the person who invited you, not you. Per RedotPay's help center: a share of the issuance fee when the invited user orders a card, a percentage of their card spending settled every 30 days, and a smaller second-level share from people they go on to refer, with higher tiers as the number of successful referrals grows. Orders placed with a discount of 50% or more earn no referral commission, which is one reason genuine 50%-off codes are not something referrers hand out.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a referral code and a promo code?
A referral code is entered at registration and gives a $5 welcome reward. A promo code is entered on the card order screen and lowers the card issuance fee. You can use both on the same account.
Can the $5 welcome reward pay for the card?
No. The reward is spending credit and is excluded from the card issuance fee. Pay the fee from your balance, reduced with a promo code.
I forgot to enter the referral code. Can I add it now?
No. RedotPay only accepts a referral code during registration, and support cannot add it afterwards. You can still use a promo code when you order the card.
Is a referral code the same as an invitation code or invite code?
Yes. The app calls it a referral code; the same field is described as an invitation code or invite code on many websites.
When does the reward arrive, and is it available everywhere?
It arrives after identity verification is approved. RedotPay sets the amount and conditions, and both can differ by country or change over time; the Referral section of the app shows the current offer for your account.
What does the person who referred me get?
According to RedotPay's help center, referrers earn a share of the card issuance fee when you order a card, a percentage of your card spending settled every 30 days, and a smaller share from people you go on to refer. Rates rise with the number of successful referrals.
